Clover Shiver Frame





This tutorial was created in PSP X
but can be easily done in other versions.
I have also rated this as intermediate as
I have few screen shots and brief explanations.

For this tutorial you will need the following:

PSP X
Image of choice
Plugins - FM Tile Tools and Filters Unlimited 2

1 - Open image and duplicate, close the original
2 - Foreground to a light color from image
3 - Background to dark color from image
4 - Image > Add Borders - 2 px with your dark color
5 - Selections > Select All
6 - Selections > Invert
7 - Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout
Settings: H & V 2, opacity 50 and blur 20
8 - Repeat Cutout except change the H & V to -2
9 - Layers > Merge > Merge All

10 - Image > Add Borders - 5 px with light color
11 - Image > Add Borders - 2 px with your dark color

12 - Image > Add Borders - 30 px
13 - Select with Magic Wand and flood fill with your light color
14 - Keep selected
15 - Effects > Geometric Effects > Perspective-Vertical
Settings: Distortion 45, Color - use your dark color
16 - Effects > Plugins > FM Tile Tools > Blend Emboss
17 - Effects > Inner Bevel
Settings: Bevel #2, width 9, smoothness 0, depth 6, ambience -15,
shininess 36, color - white, angle 298, intensity 50, elevation 30
18 - Selections > Select None

19 - Image > Add Borders - 50 px
20 - Select with magic wand and flood fill with your light color
21 - Keep Selected
22 - Effects > Plugins > Filters Unlimited 2 > Special Effects 1 > Shiver
Settings: H & V 78
23 - Effects > Plugins > FM Tile Tools > Blend Emboss
24 - Selections > Select None

25 - Image > Add Borders - 5 px
26 - Select with magic wand and flood fill with your dark color
27 - Repeat #17 for your Inner Bevel effect
28 - Add decorative corners if you wish
29 - Add your watermark, re-size and save as a .jpg
