Over at the Old Grande Lady of Paperworks, The Times that is, an interview with phenomenon Ze Frank from the Ze Frank Show, a show that you either like or don’t like. That said, the following quote from Clay Shirky struck me as hilarious:

Most people aren’t funny, and most funny people are not funny most of the time.

Fair enough. The latest coolest of cool trend is to smack your MacBook and, apparently, it works on some PCs too (IBM ThinkPad version/Linux). Actually, let me restate that quote above: good programmers are funny but then in a boring way ¹. I’ve yet to meet a macho programmer. But then, maybe in the next 10 years, if the next generation of programmers grows up and evolves into a more practical and (particularly) social species. You know: the Arnold Schwarzenegger-type of programmer.
