The first thing that grabbed my attention was this movie showing the path of the Dec 26 Tsunami wave over at CBC’s.
The movie comes from the Pacific Marine Environment Labaratory. The PMEL has quite some information about that tsunami.
Although the earlier mentioned movie is spectacular, please keep in mind it’s a rather simplified and static simulation: it reminded me a bit of throwing rocks in pools and watch the water ripples and waves.
