Google groups

As a frequent user of UseNet (still), I must say that the latest beta of Google Groups totally sucks.

I think it’s the layout. Check for example the initial layout when going to a group (or in UseNet lingo ‘newsgroup’). Now switch to a message with multiple replies, for example here.

It’s completely inconsistent. In the last view, it’s hard to tell where a message actually ends. Yeah, probably somewhere around the name of the author. I’m trying to remember what it looked like initially, but I’m sure it was better than this crap.
