Glamour Gal Tag
PSP 7 - Intermediate Level
Supplies Needed:
Glamour Gal tube
Gold Glitter
1) Open tube, duplicate and close the original.
2) Open New Transparent Image 500 x 500 px.
3) Right Click on blue bar at top of Glamour Gal tube, Left click Copy.
4) Foreground is your Gold Pattern and make the Background Null.
5) Open Draw Tool - line width 20, create as vector.
6) Draw some vertical and horizontal lines in a haphazard fashion. see screen shot for example
7) Convert to Raster Layer.
8) Effects > Sharpen
9) Effects > Sharpen > Sharpen More
10) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
Settings: V&H 2, opacity 100, blur 2.5, color - black
11) New Raster layer
12) Paste tube as a New Selection and with Mover Tool, move to the left side with foot resting on a bar.
13) Deselect and add a new Raster layer
14) Activate tube again and Image > Resize 80%. Copy and Paste as a New Selection on your working copy.
15) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow
Settings: V&H 2, opacity 100, blur 6.4, color - black
16) Layers > Arrange > Send to the bottom With Mover Tool, place near the center.
17) Highlight Layer 2 > Zoom in by 1
18) Open selection Tool > Rectangle > Feather 0 > Antialias checked.
19) Select the bar over the woman's hair, hit Delete and repeat this action until the bar is removed.
20) New Raster layer
21) Activate tube again and Image > Resize 80%. Copy and Paste as a New Selection on your working copy and place this image to the right side.
22) Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow - same as we used in Line #15. Repeat Drop Shadow.
Making a Star tube:
23) Layers > New Raster Layer
24) Open a new transparent image 250 x 250
25) Set your Foreground to Null and your Background to Gold pattern.
26) Open Preset Shape Tool with Create as vector checked. Select Star 2 and draw a small star.
NOTE: At this stage the star can be Exported as a Tube for future use
27) Back to our working image Copy and paste the Star as a new Selection. Paste multiple stars as new selections, varying the size as you go. Remember to Sharpen your star each time you re-size. :)
28) Layers > Merge All > Flatten
29) New Raster Layer
30) Apply Text as you wish.
31) Layers > Merge All Flatten
32) Add your watermark, Resize, Optimise and save as jpeg.
